Bubbles

About

A game where you pop bubbles with a spaceship. The bubbles burst into 4 smaller bubbles that move in a random direction. Inspired by the game asteroids (Wikipedia).

So far, this game has only been tested on 1 Linux computer (V1.01) and 3 different Windows computers (V1.0.0). Bugs are very likely, so please report them here (GitHub).

In-game controls

W/S: moves the ship forward/backward

A/D: rotates the ship counterclockwise/clockwise

F:  fires a bullet

Escape: pause the game

Files/folders this game creates/uses

This game will create files in the config and cache locations of your operating system.

For operating systems supporting the XDG directories (e.g., most Linux distros): 

• `~/.config/bubbles` for configuration files
• `~/.local/share/bubbles` for log files

For Windows:

• `%APPDATA%\Roaming\clinery\bubbles\data` for configuration files
• `%APPDATA%\Local\clinery\bubbles\cache` for log files

System requirements

Windows (Minimum)

• A CPU newer than 2012
• 6G of RAM
• Any graphics card that supports Vulkan 1.1 (most things newer than 2012 and some older)

Linux(Minimum)

• A CPU newer than 2012
• 3G of RAM (Linux usually uses less RAM than Windows)
• Any graphics card that supports Vulkan 1.1 (most things newer than 2012 and some older)

At the GitHub page here (GitHub).

There is currently no way to disable log files, but that may change in a future release.
